D.L. Townsend Insurance Agency, LLC, and Erie Insurance have made a $2,000 donation to the Finleyville Food Pantry. As part of Erie Insurance Group’s program “Erie Agents Giving Back” the D.L. Townsend Agency was able to donate $1,000 to the Finleyville Food Pantry on behalf of Erie Insurance.
The D.L. Townsend Agency matched that donation for a total of $2,000 and also provided 400 reusable grocery bags. Prior to the pandemic and subsequent economic shutdown, the Finleyville Food Pantry would typically provide for approximately 75 families each week. Recently, the need has grown significantly and they now provide for 350+ families each week. Pat Trumpie, President/Director of the Finleyville Food Pantry is very pleased that they are able to assist anyone from anywhere and they treat people like family.
