DAVID

David L. Townsend began his insurance career in 1993 after successfully passing both the Property & Casualty and Life Insurance exams required by the state of Pennsylvania.  At that time, he accepted a position as an insurance agent with Godleski Insurance Agency, Inc.

Throughout David’s 15 year career with GIA he held several positions within the agency.  David was promoted to Vice President in September 1997.  From this point forward, he managed the day to day operations of the agency.  In April 2005, David was promoted to Executive Vice President.  In this capacity, he was responsible for the oversight of all aspects of agency operations.  Shortly thereafter, David was presented with the opportunity to purchase the agency.  On May 01, 2008 this opportunity became a reality.  David and his wife Patricia used their newly formed company, D.L. Townsend Insurance Agency, LLC to purchase Godleski Insurance Agency.

ED

Edward A Tech, Jr. began his insurance career as a Customer Service Representative for Godleski Insurance Agency in February 1992.  He became a licensed agent in 2002.  Today, he is a full time agent and producer for the D. L. Townsend Insurance Agency specializing in personal lines coverage.

Ed has been a resident of Whitehall, PA since 1953.  Ed proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1967.  Ed is active in many local organizations in his free time away from the office, including softball and bowling leagues.  He is also a member of the Vietnam Veterans Association.

BERNICE

Bernice L. Born resides in Castle Shannon, PA with her husband Cal and their children Calvin and Brittany.

Bernice began her insurance career in 1992 as a part time Customer Service Representative for the Richard Rhoades Agency.  Bernice took and passed her Property & Casualty Exam in 1995 to become a licensed agent.  In January 2002, Bernice accepted employment with the Godleski Insurance Agency.  In 2006, she was promoted to a “producer”.  Today, Bernice is a full time agent and producer for the D.L. Townsend Insurance Agency and specializes in commercial insurance.

Bernice is very active in the communities that surround both the agency and her home.  She has been instrumental in establishing and maintaining the “Lookin’ Out” program at Keystone Oaks, Mt. Lebanon and Pine Richland High Schools.  Through this program, sponsored by Erie Insurance, Bernice works with school administrators, counselors and teachers to promote the message of good decision making to the students of these communities.

ANN

Ann M. Oehling began her insurance career in 1992 while working at Canonsburg Hospital within the field of health insurance. She obtained her Property & Casualty Insurance License in 2005 and her Life Insurance License in 2008. Prior to joining the staff of the D.L. Townsend Agency in 2010, Ann worked for another local insurance agency.  Today, Ann is a full time agent and producer specializing in Life Insurance. Ann is a life long resident of the South Hills area of Pittsburgh.

Currently, she lives with her husband, William and their dog Coco in Whitehall, PA. In her spare time, Ann loves to cook, garden and spend time with her children, Lisa and Garrett and her grandchildren Dalesha, Elijah and Emily.
